Dunham Elementary School is a wonderful place where teachers, students, parents and community members work together to create an environment where children love to learn. Located in the rural dairy lands near Petaluma, Dunham Elementary School brings a small town, country flavor to the education of our students.

We average 170 students in grades K-6 each year. We have one class per grade level, creating a true sense of family and stability for kids as they move through the grades with the same group of students. Our high achievement in standardized tests continue to draw the interest of families who are looking for the most comprehensive educational program for their elementary school age children.

The school’s Academic Performance Index of 860 for the 2006-07 school year was well above the state recommended score of 800. Our students also transition well into the local junior high schools at the end of their elementary experience.
