PTO Budget meeting on Monday July 20 at 6:30pm at Round Table in Rohnert Park. This will be the meeting to create the 09-10 Budget. Please join us and make your voice heard!
Unfortunately the Dunham Summer Day Camp will NOT be happening this 2009 Summer. Although we had many great things planned and thought that it would be a great place for our students, the original # of committed families were unable to follow through, making it impossible for us to meet our salary & activity fees. We wish everyone the BEST Summer and will see all of you again in the Fall.
It’s time to get your Request for Interdistrict Attendance Permit in for the 2009-2010 school year. Forms are available online, in the Dunham office and at your home district offices.

BUDGET BOOSTERS! Please check the wall in the Community Room for a chance to help us out with our supplies for next year. Please pick up a form....this will really help us out!
The Dunham School District Calendar for 2009/2010 is listed here & on the Calendar pages. Check out the new end time on Wednesdays: 8:00-1:00 for ALL students K-6. In edition there will be a ski week in February set for the week of Feb. 15-19th. Pls. try to sched. vacations during this week as the school loses considerable funding for students who miss school during the year for vacations.
DUNHAM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISASTER PLAN
Dunham Elementary School is in need of several supplies to fulfill the school’s disaster plan needs. We are looking to you for help in assuring that our children will be SAFE in the event of a disaster.

Cash donations are welcome in lieu of a supply donation if it’s easier for your family/friend/resource, etc. and it is TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We will provide you with a tax deduction letter.

GARDEN NEWS...WOW!!!
Thanks to Maryann Bowman, Dunham School has been awarded the Lowe's Garden Grant of $5,400.00 which will be used to make our school garden even better!Thanks Maryann! And 'Thank You' to all the garden volunteers!
Congratulations and thanks again to MaryAnn Bowman who has written another grant for the garden and has received $2500 worth of tools and supplies from Fiskar. Only 10 grants were awarded nationwide out of 1000 applicants. Maryann made quite an extensive creative mural as part of the application process. MaryAnn and the garden team of Dana Davis and Kathy Gaither would love to have more parent help and support for our ever evolving garden. Let them know if you are interested in helping.
